(Actually, I'm not moving for another day or three. But you guys might not see me much for a few days anyway, since I may be busy with preparing to move. So it would probably be a good idea to avoid doing anything which requires Kooshie's assistance for a while.

Jan. 5th - Didn't have any time yesterday to log. Had some problems with a specimen. It somehow busted up the electrical shield we had containing him. Took us a while, but he finally was forced back in. We've been using magnetic and plasma shields since then. It seems capable of controlling electricity to a degree. Got to check out the hybrids today. Weird stuff, chimps and raptors combined. They look like people, but with BIG teeth and claws, and they are REALLY strong.
Jan. 17th - Wow, we've been busy. Nearly had a breach in the raptor facility. The Greys are planning something, there's no doubt about that. Probably still angry about the Roswell thing. Command has tripled security personnel. All the big guys have been issued grenade launchers and pulse shotguns, so we should be safe. Those hybrids are daggone fast, though, so if there's a breach the grenades probably won't be too useful. *Fritzes again*

I was thinking more along the lines of a repeat of that one GP facility, only worse, since the lighting and architecture is eerily similar to certain 20th century futuristic horror movies. There, got it fixed. I wonder why it keeps messing up.
Jan. 18th - Fairly normal day, except that a hybrid got out. The pulse shotguns liquified him pretty quick, though.
Jan. 25th - Very busy for the past week. There've been a lot of malfunctions, and reports have reached us that some guy called Q9 is gettin' everyone worked up in Kamchatka, so a lot of our firepower has been transferred there. Weird guy. Heard he flies around in a pink spaceship and has talking pets. He sure doesn't SOUND very threatening if that's true - then again, supposedly he's all friendly with Emporer TM. That could explain a lot. Never did like the emporer. I think he's the one behind all this craziness, Q9 just sounds like a loon who happens to be a great scapegoat.
Jan. 30th - Huge problems. The Greys somehow busted the electrical guy out, and he's been letting the hybrids and raptors loose. They LISTEN to him. Turns out he can speak, calls himself Zeus. The damage has been confined to Bay 17, but we're getting reports of problems in the aquatic environments. My unit is guarding the portal entrance to make sure nothing gets through - we're stationed in the bunker near it.
Feb. 11th - Did some scouting, and it turns out that my unit and the officers are the only ones alive in Bay 17. Most of the hallways have been flooded, and the ones that aren't are filled with hybrids. We're low on ammo, but Science Team says the portal is almost ready for evac.
Feb. 20th - The portal over Olympus Mons somehow activated. Power's down in most of Area 51, but we've managed to get our evac portal up and running. Wanted to say alot more, but it's time for the evacuation and there's - what the heck? THERE'S HYBRIDS IN THE HALL! Go, go, go! *Sounds of gunfire, followed by* AAAAAHHHH!!!
Well, that's the end of the recording. Sounds like we're lucky - just barely missed the massacre.
