The start of my coop (Updated Pictures 6/18/08)

The coop looks wonderful.... you've got the linoleum flooring in, and everything looks so sturdy!

How are you angling the roof line so that rain runs off? I would like to do an A-line roof, but will probably do the cheaper shed-type roof instead. I'm planning on angling the roof so the rain pours down the back.

Thanks everyone here are a couple more . All I have to do now is shingle the roof and add the pop hole and then the run . We have a couple free loaders already ...

I am not sure yet what I am going to do If I stain it I believe you need to stain it almost once a year to keep it maintained , were paint might be every 3 years . Any advise .

Adorable photos! It looks great. I like the sliding window idea.

A lot of the exterior stains now are almost exactly like paint, come in lots of colors and don't have to be redone every year.
