I guess it's just another reason to take more pictures of them while they're growing up, LOL. Don't know when I'll have chicks again, might as well keep records and take pictures

the ornamental contest is almost over once i find at least 2 more judges. i am going through the list i have and there are no entries for some breeds. if you want to enter now is your chance to do so. thank you (please if you enter more than one bird use seprate post for easier judging and try to include at least 3 pics from different angles)

Oh my gosh, I seriously love my sultan. This morning I went out and gave everyone some oatmeal, and then went in and sat in the banty run. Jasmine was hanging around me so I decided to pick her up and put her on my leg. She just sat there and let me pet her for a good 5 minutes! She LOVES to be pet, and as I was rubbing under her chest feathers she just fluffed up and started to fall asleep <3. So freaking cute. I eventually put her down and she wandered off on her merry way, making her silly noises.

She is seriously one of the sweetest birds I've owned! I love that she loves to be held and pet

I've got this huge box with 12 sultan chicks inside (about a month old now) and they were always freaking out when I reach in, but now they're acting so sweet! Some come to me, others stand waiting as I go around scratching each one on their chest a bit. I don't know when they started to settle down, I guess a little bit every day, but I'm really noticing it now, how they're calmer and sweeter!

Yah, I really love my sultans too

Good little buggers and I can see enjoying them as adults very much
