Light Sussex usually go broody quite a lot. My friend has 3 and all 3 are always broody. The one that got to hatch out was a great mother

So flipping cute !!!! I want more ! They are addictive

My SS LaLa has become a little devil girl. She's still as adorable as ever to me, always under foot, loves to be held, etc. BUT, a couple months ago we introduced 2 new girls to the existing group of 3. The other two accept them but will still give them the "we're dominant" look. LaLa on the other-hand is chasing them, and now that they've started squatting will jump on them as if to mount them. She's also started crowing on occasion. I'm just about ready to send her down to live on my friend's farm. Is there any way to break her of this dominance behavior? She's still only #3 in the original pecking order, it's not like she's #1.

From what I understand - if you remove her from the group for 2 days .... she will lose her place in the pecking order!

That should tone her down a little .... so hopefully you have a crate or some place out of sight and sound where you can give her a big time out ?

I'm going to have to do that, she's out of control. I love that darn bird, but my gosh she's a handful!
