So I have a question....our Svart Hona rooster has gotten a white spot on each side of his head. I he supposed to have those?

Hi, To the best of my knowledge no. My question for you is ~ why do his legs look yellow and his comb red? If you google the breed and hopefully the Svart vets will chime in as well, to give you a proper standard. HugHess

That's just the light, their legs and combs are black. The spot is definitely white though

We have those two from Greenfire Farms. She does lay white eggs

Mine are free ewe crazy the lobs are mulberry,they haven't started laying yet

White ear lobes pop up from time to time in these and the Cemani.
Not sure why, but it happens in all bloodlines that I'm aware of.
Technically it is not something you should breed in but you can still use him. Just be sure to keep an eye on his offspring because it will be passed on to a percentage of his sons most likely.
