She brought her hooves down hard on his nose, snorting angrily.

After her hoof left his nose, he clamped down hard onto her ankle, his teeth piercing through her flesh.

The lash of a rope landed on Thunder's muzzle, and RedRiver used her free leg to kick around his eyes.

"It seems you will be greatly missed then."

"I doubt anyone would miss that sad excuse for a stallion!" RedRiver growled.

 

[Zinnia-Hen]

He began to thrash again, squeezing his eyes shut. Why would they allow their horses to abuse me like this?! Are they as abusive as the Spanish were? Are they the Spanish? he thought.

 

[Broken]

NightHawk snapped a warning. "That's no way to speak river, even to him."

River snorted angrily at Thunder, but said nothing.
