The tiny serama; a Hatching adventure

Thank you, Fluffy. ❤️ I have raised birds all of my life. It’s kind of funny that I’m an Anthropologist/Archaeologist 🤓, whose career is mainly the study of everything human! But this is my way of balancing both passions, I guess! 🤣

Honestly, that's part of the beauty of animals, and chickens specifically. People very different from eachother (professionally, geographically, politically, whatever) have this thing in common; animals.

You are an anthropologist, but someone with a completely different degree will share your fascination of these birds.

It's something that unites us

Wow! I didn't know that. That's fascinating about you! I'm just a stay at home mom who loves animals. 😆 Do you study anything specific or is it more broad range?

Fluffy, you’ve described it perfectly. ❤

I chose to be a full-time, stay-at-home mama ❤️ first— we have a 12 year old son. So, all I really get a chance to focus on these days is research, but I love that part of it. Not as much fieldwork now. ☹️ (I miss that lots)

Cultural Anthropology, most specifically. But, also Archaeology, Biological, and Environmental Science. I also dig up dinosaur bones. 🙂 It’s a career that I’m able to follow on my terms. So, it still all works with being a mama (and chicken mama). ☺️

I’m a lab manger/research technician. Your job sounds wicked cool 🙂

I did go halfway through culinary school but then got pregnant with my second and decided to be a mama first. I am lucky enough I don't NEED to work. I do want a job later on, even it's to make sure hubs doesn't lose his money to me shopping lol
