The tiny serama; a Hatching adventure

:love wow, Slick sure is a handsome boy! :love
Sorry you can't keep him, hope he gets a good home and they send pics of him growing up! ♥️🐓♥️

And congrats on your new badge! 🎉

Pictures are definitely not something I'll be getting. I'm sure he'll have a good life, though. Wether he stays at his parent's breeder's house, or if he goes on to another home

Thank you! Honoured to have it

On Sunday (or Monday, can't remember; those two days were tough)
I hope you are doing good!

On Tuesday, all three serama boys (along with three Cruella daughters) went to the breeder I got my breeding stock from, so their parent's breeder. He has a larger network, and I'm hopeful they'll either get to be great breeding birds for other people, or wonderful pets. They possess both an amazing temperament (which is largely genetic, due to the fear they showed while being with the Tsouloufates) and great conformation
That is great! I hope they have happy lives!

@GreenJay Slick, probably the best bird I have produced. If Lady Gaga wasn't proven, more mature, and I had the space, and the guts to replace him, this guy would take his place. I wish I could have got some more time to see how he matures, but unfortunately that wasn't possible. If I get a female version of him next year, I'll be happyView attachment 3881491
All of the Seramas look great, but Slick has the best carriage of them all! I love his upright tail and downward-pointing wings. I see his face is getting really red at an early age. It reminds me of one of my cockerels, Odie. Have I shown a picture of Odie here before? He is Ruby's (Rhode Island Red Bantam) and Jasper's (Old English Game Bantam/Dutch Bantam) son.

I'm doing good, thank you. Had a lot of chicken troubles those two days

Yup! That's the qualities I'm most excited to see in him! Especially those wings, which is something that we needed to work on

The chicks are doing good :) ! They're settling in the routine most will have for the rest of their lives.

I've made my picks for next year's breeders

Not sure what will become of this thread. It will always be my serama thread, but I guess it's become my chat thread too. Of course, I'll use it for next year's breedings as well

Are you going to be breeding the Tsouloufates (if I spelled that right) or something else?

Fluffy should have another go with his Serama’s of course! I really want to meet a female Serama named after Harris Alexiou with a magic voice next year!

You have another year to practice with magic;
