The tiny serama; a Hatching adventure

Lol, he's still young, about 7 months old, and he doesn't have the streamers like my other boys. But he does know how to crow, so crow he does!

I have 15 wk old boys with streamers, this guy just likes his extra fluffy head I guess 🤣

Now I do see the boy characteristics :lau . He's so poofy:love!

If it helps, Fluffy, I think the same of myself literally all the time. In fact, half the time when I haven't posted in threads I've followed or have posted in before for a long time, it's because I'm sitting here thinking I'll just annoy people if I do so I'll stay quiet.

I've been told by many, many people that my presence is not annoying. I'm not sure why my brain refuses to believe this.

But just know you're not alone, and seriously, if people are saying you aren't annoying, you can believe them! :hugs

Thank you Pipd:hugs.

I remember you mentioning this in the past as well. You are definitely not annoying. You are so knowledgeable about chickens and poultry, care so much for them, and have helped so many people with their questions. You are also great at explaining things like chicken genetics that one wouldn't comprehend if presented to them any other way. Even with all that knowledge, you still remain so friendly and welcoming with any person you talk to. BYC is very lucky to have you:hugs

I know nothing about the silkie standard, but he looks perfect to me. I always classified the "proper" silkie as "the more marshmallow-y, the better":p

I'm of the same belief when it comes to my birds. If I strictly follow the standard, I'd only be breeding from Scary Spice, the other two girls are on the line

Well in that case, he is definitely my best silkie as he has the marshmallow-y-ness of any of my silkies. He is by far the biggest poof on the property!
