Mine was free from the hospital that my grandfather was the maitnance(sp) manager at for like 50 years lol I got almost all of the wood (except for 2 sheets of 1/4 plywood) I got 5 3/4 plywood sheets a ton of 2x4a and 2x6s all i had to buy was the chicken wire and the 2 1/4 sheets of plywood.

so i built mine for about 60 dollers

I'm a bloodhound when it comes to a bargain. I never pay what I should for anything. I have been known to be a schemer. Had another work in mind but I don't want to offend anyone.

I got this building for $700. 10 x 12

I just purchased a 4yr old playhouse (built by a carpenter for his daughter) for $250. I am going to go get it today!

big fence front door used, so we would have a wide entrance, has come in handy...we use an old large wired dog kennel to seperate news one once quartined for meetings...bad weather can carry dog kennel into the coop for protection from weather and also from chickens until they know each other. and door locks also

Do you really!!!! DH found that in a resale shop for .50cents...I have another on the side of the coop screwed in, real pretty colors...I say it looks like a eagle...in a cartoon sense and DH says its a duck...but it says WELCOME 1.50...I want to cover my coop in signs like antique or farmer signs....

Wow! After reading those prices, a Henspa sounds reasonably priced! Precut wood, feeder, waterer, top floor, sliding roof... But sometimes homemade is the only way to go!
