Totally depends on whether you are digging yourself holes physically or verbally!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a fear that everything is going to go wrong... I've never before been able to exercise good, stay happy and cut out some food all at the same time.
It's been several weeks that I've managed to do it now; exercise, diet and be happy all at the same time. The number on the scale isn't as important as the way I feel and the new muscles that I am feeling.
I'm afraid I will fall into an emotional downswing and chuck it all and be mad at myself and the entire world again. I go through those up/down cycles you know. I'm prob an un-diagnosed bi-polar person.

The reason I posted my sausage and cheese fling this morning is because I know I will screw up, but that doesn't mean I'll give up. Do the best you can, as long as you can, and if things slip a little, just stamp your foot and tell yourself your gonna try to go back to good habits the very next meal. We're in this for the long haul.

Usually, everyone always waits for the new year to attempt new fitness and health resolutions. Every DAY that you are able to wake up, is a new day. So even if you "screw up", truly and really, the next day affords you the opportunity to begin afresh. Keep a journal of the accomplishments you have made; refer to them when you are feeling real down, that may help when you're feeling bleak.

Hugs, you're doing fabulous thus far!!!

If you can get through the first few weeks of making changes like this, it will start getting easier to maintain them. Hang in there!

I just wanted to report in. This is my accountability. I did well my first week, went from 165 to 161.5. I slipped up a few times and ate sweets, but I did well with eating healthy meals and I got excersise four days out of the week. This week is not going to be as busy with famiy stuff, so I'm going to go for five days a week of excersise.

I did the same as you, chics.Dropped 5#'s the first week ,ate over the weekend and gained back 3#'s.I did keep at it on the stationary bike over the weekend tho.We will see what happens as the week goes on.

Since I've been on my juice cleanse (3 weeks), I have dropped 14 lbs. This is my last week on my juice cleanse and then I begin my road to healthy eating and exericse.

I blew a massive crater in my diet yesterday..Was fine up until dinner...3 meatballs..2 sausages and tons of angel hair pasta..with a huge spinach salas.I over-indulged and pigged

I SUMO- SQUAT DEAFLIFTED 245 lbs today! Woohoo! And I think I could've done more, too! This was such an accomplishment because I found out that my quads are really string, but my hamstrings and glutes are weak (need to work on those), so my deadlift technique was a mess. My instructor said sumo-squat might work better to favor my strength of the adductor in my legs....and it did.
