I just turned back on tonight to let you all know that my mummy died tonight. At about 11 pm uk time. It was my parents wedding anniversary today.

I have no more words right now. it was very sudden so am feeling a bit sick right now.

I suspect you're right. My SIL said after I left, the woman just kept talking and talking and at one point patted her on the belly and made a comment, too! I've got to learn to laugh it off the way she did!

I am so sorry you experienced that. I know it still hurts, but I would bet the lady has alzhiemers and would be horrified if she really knew what she was saying. My Gma had that horrible disease and she too fixated on weight as she worsened. She would say horrible things like that to people, we tried everything we could do to stop it, but they (the alzheimers pts) just really don't know. I know who and what my Gma was like before the alziemers and she would have never, ever been so rude.

Thanks for all the thoughts and care. Dad is havign a terrible time he is distrought with grief right now. It was so sudden and such a shock for him. He has been nursing her for a few years. It was not expected as although she was disabled otherwise she was in relitively good health. She had Post polio syndrome.

I am struggling with distance care right now as I am still in Irlend and need to get to England but so much to sort before I am able to get away having two disabled kids here and all else.

Oesdog - One thing its doing wonders for the diet I lost a good few pounds this week already! I wouldn't recomend this though!

I am so sorry! I Am shocked and saddened for you.
I have not been checking this thread because of the time it takes to have all of these adds to load, so I am sorry it has taken so long for me to send you my condolences.
I am sorry you have to go through this.
My husband lost his brother late February. It seems to be a bad spot for a lot of people.
You have my sympathy and sincerest condolences.

I am still watching !!!!!!! Though not posting as much - if you guys want encouraging - I just put on a stone in weight! So I need you guys to help me out comfort eating is not helping!!!!!!!! I miss mum so much right now. It feels so unreal - must stop eating the wrong food!!!!!!
