CATS or DOGS????

My cats do not get on my counters. They have been soaked with a squirt gun as kittens for getting up there. No cats on my counter.

For a vote. I think my cats are more dogs like, but I'm a sucker for both!
My cat doesn't get on the counter or table either.

Our last cat was raised with the dog so he thought he was one 😂🤣

I love dogs that act like cats (a little more independent than the in-your-face-24/7 dogs). I have never been crazy about cats and they have too many downsides with disease, messing with the garden, etc.

But I could imagine deciding to get a semi-wild outdoor cat if we ended up with a bad rodent problem, since we are in a Hantavirus and plague area. Thankfully we haven't been faced with that yet. Our closest neighbors (~1/2 mile away) have had to get cats because of the rodent issue. They are a bit downhill from us, so in a slightly less arid and more vegetated area.
Totally understandable! Although indoor cats are pretty clean 😁 but ours have always been indoor/outdoor but our current one doesn’t really like going out that much.

See I'm a whiskey girl too!

Everytime I see your name I think of this wicked rude overo paint mare, name Alley Cat. My god that horse was going to kill someone, would kick boards off the stall when you walked by. Lounge out and try to bite you. Just ruthless...
Good grief. I would not tolerate that here.
