It appears that the United States is going to attack Assad in Syria, where a civil war is raging and Assad just used chemical weapons. The attack will probably take place within days.
I understand that the international community is angry that Assad used chemical weapons. But why should it be the United States' responsibility to attack Assad? Why don't countries that are close to Syria, such as Turkey, address the issue?
I also have mixed feelings about this because those who are fighting Assad include Al-Qaeda members and other Muslim extremists.
I just think every time the United States gets into a foreign conflict it causes more anger to be directed at the United States.
