The USPS can be total jerks sometimes! Update...

About packages being scaned at the po where they were mailed. I've been told by two different post masters that they are "not required to".

Don't know whether I want to cry or raise heck.

I got a call early this morning from super nice guy number 2 that I had talked to yesterday. He was letting me know that my package had arrived. I could have hugged him through the phone. I get up to the PO and there is one other customer waiting at the counter. No employees behind the counter. As I was waiting there, two employees came out (one of which was the lady that had checked me out Wednesday and thunked my package on the counter). Guess who they were talking about? Me, of course. Crazy chicken egg lady, apparently. I didn't catch all of the very first part of their conversation. The word "eggs" caught my attention. The she goes on to say,"She freaked out when I dropped her eggs on the counter." She says this in a very disrespectful way. The male employee behind her says, "Well, they're going to get tossed around." She looks up just as I'm getting ready to tell them,"I'm right here!"And before I get it out of my mouth, she says, "You here for your eggs?" I'm assuming that was her signal to the other guy that the crazy egg lady is here so shut up! It's too late, though. They were talking smack about me and they were also doing it in front of another customer. I'm angry and at the same time, I guess my feelings are hurt. I didn't freak out on her, btw. When she dropped them on the counter the way she did Wednesday, all I told her was that there were eggs in the package. Just letting her know that she was handling the package in an unnecessary way. I wasn't snotty and I certainly wasn't freaking out.

I'm not sure whether or not to report them. I certainly am NOT going to have eggs shipped to there location anymore. There is another post office south of me that is just as close so I'll figure out how I can have them shipped directly to them (Bulverde) instead of Spring Branch. Even if I have to get a PO Box.
