The Variety Discussion Thread

Lol, yeah, I bet you could imagine. They also gang up on people.

I will definitely let you all know.

Ha ha! Sounds like a few of my hens! They seem like little mischief's!

Thanks! :)

I take after my polish Grandmother so i'd have to say Polishes. And for color i'd say the Wc cuckoo polishs are quite the lookers ;)

Great choices!

Next question:
What's your least favorite variety?

Cornish cross for sure. Its heart breaking to see them. They're un-naturally over weight and most of the time i see they crawling since they've lost use of their legs due to weight problems.

I agree with your decision, it isn't comfortable to see let alone eat something that went through pain and despair. Good choice for a least favorite.

If any of you could guess the breed of this rooster... Go head?

As in my signature, here is the chicken website link. It is not operating yet as mentioned, I am just spreading the word.

Standard American Game, American Game Bantams, Buff Laced Polish, and Silver Laced Polish should be available for certain. The maybes are Buff Ameraucanas, and Buff Easter Eggers. The Ameraucanas and Easter Eggers I mentioned are NOT the same thing! If it works out, with a successful hatch and raising of these Ameraucanas. I plan on breeding pure TRUE Ameraucanas, and crossing them to my Buff Orpington rooster. (I think I already said that, oh well ;) ) Those would be the Easter Eggers. These two are a big MAYBE, I am not even certain the Ameraucana eggs will hatch! Thanks!
