(haha where is this going? lol)
Lariah had been going down the path for what seemed like hours. It had started to rain, and the gravely path was muddy. Lariah had no coat to cover herself, so she picked up Aster's pace. Soon a sign appeared, but it was hard to read. She got closer, squinted her eyes, and saw the foggy outline of Alnwick. Her mined twirled a little bit. It was getting dark and she was getting colder by the second. It can't hurt to stay one night. But she couldn't help but think that it was ironic that the path led her here.
(haha where is this going? lol i have no idea what to write)Edmund requested that his supper be brought up to his rooms. He changed into dry clothes, then reapplied the salve that the physician has given him. Sitting down in an oversized chair, he picked up a book to read but couldn't focus. He was bored with the current state of things. Nothing had happened in months concerning the supposed marriage contract between the prince and princess, not even a feast between the two kingdoms to prove their alliance.
He set the book down and went over to stand by the fireplace. A feast would be nice. Maybe even a ball.
