*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

He didn't seem like he was going to spit out what was bothering him any time soon. Lariah sighed and looked out the window. I wonder if-. Her head was thrown forward as the carriage bumped violently. Lariah got a hold of herself and realized the weren't moving. With rising anxiety and frustration, she threw the carriage door open and stepped out to talk to the coachmen.
" Would you like to explain what that was?" She snarled.

Edwin suddenly had a deep sinking feeling in his stomach. Something was wrong. Seriously wrong. He stepped out of the carriage and went to a knight that was with them. "Sir, I need your horse," he demanded. The knight didn't question but obediently claimed down, holding the reigns for the prince to mount. Edwin thanked the man and pushed the horse into a canter, returning to Edinburgh castle. His heart racing, the sinking feeling remained. He hoped he wasn't too late.

Alfric is hesitant to leave but knows he can't stay here forever. He pulls back the curtain and looks at Katrina.
"I can't go in first." He whispers.

"Empty?" He mutters, moving closer to Katrina. "Then what is it that you heard?"

(Hey, you're up early. It's 1pm here.)

Katrina shrugged. "Must of been a mouse." She was fairly certain the room was empty, plus, there was no one to be seen
