Alena us unconscious and has no idea what is happening.
"The honor is mine." Gwen said politely, before brushing past Edmund and into the great parlor.
Peter felt a small bump as the carriage came to a stop. "It was a please to speak with you Lady Jane."
Audric grumbled silently under his breath as he took Mariah's arm.
Edmund watched the princess for a moment before returning to greeting his guests.
Linnet followed Gwen only as far as the entry way. She stopped and turned to face Richard. "I don't think the queen meant you had to stand beside me the entire time," she smiled sweetly. Richard took the hint, bowed, and left.
Linnet breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't want him over her shoulder the entire evening.
Jane smiled graciously at Peter as she prepared to exit. "And it was a pleasure to speak to you, Sir Peter." The carriage stopped completely and the coachman opened the door for them.
Mariah accepted the king's arm. "Now, my dear, you must be on your best manners. You are the king! You must talk to the princess. As your future daughter in law, it would be best for you to know her more personally," she explained.

Katrina returned to the prince's room with the supplies.
Edwin acknowledged her with a small nod.
"The physician is absent," she blurted out. "But I think I know what to do for now, at least," she quickly added to assure him.
"How would you know that?" Edwin asked, his eyes not leaving Alena.
"My mother is a midwife, and she often cares for the sick servants. I've watched her when she works here, and she told me all about everything when––"
"Okay, just do what you need to do quickly," Edwin interrupted her. He would prefer the Royal physician to attend Alena, but as he wasn't here, Katrina would have to do.
