Even cooler!!
Hey just looked at where you're from! My aunt and uncle used to live in Preble then for a long time in Homer. That's near you, right?

Upstate, NY is a great place to live; especially the Fingerlakes region. The winters are just long enough to make you appreciate how magnificent the spring, summer, and fall are.

I don't get to the Finger Lakes too often, but it's incredibly beautiful. It's probably about an hour and a half from me, out here near Niagara Falls. Watkins Glen is always a much anticipated destination for me. And the wine trail.

Good luck with them, I hope they get to you safely. I have an order of 39 chicks coming tomorrow(hopefully). All the breeds you got are really pretty and cool looking, especially the dominiques, I have a few and they are the sweetest birds, one that I hatched comes when I call her, and hops up on my shoulder. Again good luck, and I hope they come safely, keep us updated

My cousins (other side of the family) own a big place on Seneca Lake. I used to get to spend time there when I was a kid and their dad still owned it. Beautiful.
My Homer relatives lived on a main road right across the street from the Yellow Lantern Campground.
I was born in Rochester but have been in CT since I was 3.

okay so I'm still anxiosly awaiting the arrival of my chicks, so while I wait I thought I would post the breeds that I'm getting because I don't think I have yet.

2 porcelains
1 salmon faverolle
3 red pyle OEG
4 silver polish
2 sultans
5 Golden Polish
2 crevecoeurs
2 dark cornish
1 dark brahma
4 Buff Laced Polish
3 Turkens
2 white polish
2 white laced red cornish
2 white faced black spanish
3 mottled houdans
2 Dominiques
and 1 free rare chick.

Man I don't know how I'm suppose to keep track of all those breeds, there are atleast 16, plus the free rare chick. I can't wait until they get here, it's gonna be fun trying to figure out which ones are which, and as if you can't tell, I love the crested breeds

I talked to the guy at the Country Max store the other day. He said the people that ordered chicks from them call everyday to see if anything with the order has changed!!!
