I might have you beat on the indoor pets. I have two 65 lb doberman, 3 cockatiels, and my two boys each have a cat. One of my horses climbed the stairs up to my porch but that's as close as they get to being indoors.

Yep, I'd say my husband might be feeling pretty motivated. He says he's even thinking of taking a long weekend to make sure he gets it all done in one weekend.

Now I will have to get off my butt. I just faxed my order in to Townline Hatchery in Zeeland, Mi. 25 pullets/2 roos, Buff Orpingtons, will pickup on Tues Mar 18th at their location. Saves the stress from the USPS. Second choice would be 25/2 ISA Browns in case they don't have the Buff's.

I'm quite excited, now it is the waiting game. Getting brooder ready will help.

I think Wed is going to be incubator day for my EE's, have 10 eggs that did not have a chance to get cold before I got them, probably another 2 before they go in the bator, should hatch about the time I pickup the rest.. Hope to get 50% hatch, we will see.

Well I got my chicks today, but 10 where dead

and few more are very weak. The ones that did make it though are very strong and I have a little turken that it's kinda going both ways, I'll post pics and keep you updated.

As requested pictures of my "new flock" (and one of the wheaten maran eggs I am incubating - Day 6)

Sadly, one of the mottled houdans died yesterday (was one of the three less thrifty chicks that arrived, the other two seem okay at this point).

PP, sorry to here about your loss. Hope the remaining chicks do well for you.

I too am waiting on my first shipment.

Brooders are ready coop will be built as soon as ground dries up a bit more, or it will be a tad bit crowded in the cabin

Rose Comb Leghorns
Blue Laced Red Wyndottes
Light Brahmas

I am holding back but really want to get some ducks too....

Order is due to arrive March 10th...

Thanks guys, I hope your order arrive safley. I guess I should call MMH, and they will either give me credit or another order, but I'm just not sure if I want to get more from them, you can't just replace a living life.
