Yes I put sugar in their water and they are drinking it, even the ones that died drank it also, I guess they weren't going to make it either way. I give my other birds that are outside some of the vitamins and electrolytes in their water do you think it would be okay to give to the chicks too?

I have my batch coming any day now. No later then wednesday. I run to the phone every time it rings. I only have 16 coming but they are breeds I dont have yet. FUN FUN. Silkies, Frizles, Cochin Bantams, Polishes, d'uccle mille fleurs, turkens, and my favorite duckies. grey mallard pair and fawn and white runner pair. I post lots of pics. Has anyone every had any luck broodering these kinds of chicks and ducklings together? I've heard the ducks can squash the chicks but those were the big pekins. They are going to be inside the house for a few weeks so I can keep a close eye on them. I just hate to have the 4 by themselves. Any advice would be great.

Anyway, I got my fingers crossed and will start warming up the brooder. Hopefully on March 4th I will have pics of baby fuzzy butts
