I can't believe the season is ending already! Zombie mass attack for season finale. I think the old vet is going down, my guess.
They have to bring him (Merle) back sometime so Daryl can decide who his loyalty is to once and for all and what kind of man he wants to be. Will he fall back into the old patterns of family loyalty and wanting to please his older but authoritarian brother - or will he reconcile his desire to have an emotional connection with Carol and loyalty to his new "family" (the group).
the finale is going to be awesome! I bet Hershel survives though, but Patricia, Jimmy and maybe Beth won't. I think Merle is interesting and I would be disappointed if he is never shown again but I think him being the leader of Randall's group would be super obvious.

Thats awesome. The first season was a bit slow and I wasn't sure about the show, but this past season has sold me on it. I want to read the comics/novels (my brother has been a fan for years and has them all), but I don't want to see any spoilers. My brother likes to let me know about difference, for example, Daryl does not appear in the novels.
