Pretty babies! What are the dark ones with the white speckles?
I would LOVE to have some true Ameraucanas. Where did you order them from? In large fowl I have only ever had Easter Eggers. I do have a little Lavender Ameraucana bantam hen. She is darling, and I love her little green egg! Some Golden Penciled Hamburgs, Buttercups, Ameraucanas, Blue Andalusians and Phoenix. I figured I would try these breeds. The only ones I've had before are the Ameraucanas. I ordered all pullets and hoping they are all pullets, lol!

Oh cool. Ya, I think MMH has Easter Eggers. But I have always LOVED our EEs!!! I have one now that is just a really great one. She is a nice heavy hen. I did have 2 but let my friend buy a few of my laying hens. Having those green eggs as part of the egg color rainbow is something I don't think I could do without. I think there are some people here on byc that sell the true Ameraucana eggs. They call these Ameraucanas, but I think they might be Easter Eggers. I'm getting them from McMurray. We're going to start hatching our own in the future and I want to find a breeder and get true Ameraucanas.
