The Welsummer Thread!!!!

here is a picture of my boy.he is huge and can be a butt sometimes but he is pretty to look at.

Just wondering, does anyone have pictures of their bantam Welsummers? I am curious as to how big my babies are going to get.

Cynthia, if you can search back, there are photos of bantam Welsummers. If you can not see them, let me know and I can repost it again on here. They are a larger bantam than your ordinary Sebright or Rosecombs. More in the Rock and Orp size.

he is handsome but does not like the kids so he stays on restriction alot.i am hoping to get a boy from him to replace him with,if he has a better personality.

Out of my hatch today, I ended up with 14 girls and 3 boys, according to the face markings!

I just got my first Welsummers last Sunday. I think they are around six weeks old. Can someone explain to me the comment about telling the sex with face markings? These are hatchery chicks and are supposed to be sexed but a couple of them have a roo-ish look. And also, are there any Welsummer breeders around North Texas? I'm loving all the pics here!
