We have 4 babies out, 2 working on it, 1 with a good crack started and the other 8 can't tell yet-we're waiting for the chicks to move those eggs around so we can tell.

They aren't as loud now that more have hatched!

We have 7 babies as of this morning, the 8th egg pipped but never made it and we don't know about the other 7 eggs yet. Of course the 7 babies are busy rolling the unhatched eggs all over the incubator, wondering if we should move the 7 babies out and give the eggs a day or so more just incase.

Congratulations!
I would definitely move the little fuzz butts to the brooder and leave the other eggs in for another day or two. After the first 24 hours of hatching I usually don't expect much from the other eggs unless I have seen some movement or am still hearing peeps, but I do leave them in for a couple of days just in case. Crossing my fingers and wishing you luck on the rest of the eggs.

Yay!!! Congrats!!! Im glad that you got a good number of babies... Can you tell the sex of them yet, so far this year, I have been hatching more girls than boys... My batch of eggs this week isnt due until friday for welsummer LF and welsummer BF, and sunday I have some more Welsummers hatching along with some wheaten marans.

See the V's...if they are non defined, they are males. And they have no "eyeliners".
If you can see the V's with some black outlines in the V's, and eyeliners, they are females.
