Welbars are very popular in UK, sadly so because why take out the goodness of the breed? I can see if they use culled, unfit for breeding Welsummers to cross with to get some egg production birds out of them.

Now if Prince Charles can see this forum, he ought to say who's flock it belongs to. And what breed they are. Oh, Princey Charles, where are you?????

Another breeder that raises Welsummers too. Waiting for the update of her website. I would not mind having that line but I really wanted HRH's birds LOL!

okay, anyone have chicks that like to wash their feet in the waterer? This group just started playing in the water!

Looks like we might have been a bit off on what we have as far as boys and girls- from the looks of things we might have 3 of each- but of course they run to the other side of the crate when you approach and huddle together so it's hard to get a good look!
