Hi I cannot answer that question, but I'm the proud grandmother Chicken for this beautiful Boy!

I cannot see enough pictures of him...He's so gorgeous!

You're the grandma to my boys too!

. I love the younger one especially- there is a pic on the previous page. They both have such great temperments! When the older one crows- he tilts his head. It's too funny.
My girls are from thepoultrylady in east TN. Just put a few more eggs in the incubator. They have been free-ranging with the ameraucanas- so I'm not 100% sure I'll get pure babies right now- but they tend to avoid eachother, so maybe. Olive eggers are always welcome here too though!

Didn't meant to short praise on your youngun either.....Wow Purty purty purty....Happy Mountain, you done so good! Happy Granny Nanny again!!!!!!

I miss my Welsummers they were my favorites besides my faverolles. I should have kept a trio of LF welsummers. Will Marrows flock is so nice and I had some nice pullets from him before I sold my LF. I just looked at the Kummer Poultry add in the hatching BST section wish I had room for some of those golden and silver welsummer bantams!

Here it is! My first official Welsummer egg (not counting the not-fully-formed-sort-of-shell-less one

I think that they will be less speckled and a little darker once she is in the swing of things. A lot of people like speckled, but not me. I culled the hens that didn't give me a nice dark, evenly colored eggs. However, the pullets I kept from the same batch aren't laying yet so I don't know what genetics these roos are adding to the equation.

Very cool!

I like dark, and the speckled adds something different. I'm sure I will be very happy!

I'm shocked at how early she has started laying. I have to assume she is the one from the hatch that was @ a week before the other three...but that would still make her only @ 20-21 weeks old. That's awesome!

Nice egg! Very pretty!

Mine are still pretty new to laying, their first few eggs were really dark, then they got really light, and now they are darkening again. (and hopefully will still get darker)
