Not all hatchery birds are that way though. Our last Wellie was Hatchery and she was a lap bird and low on the pecking order. She would come when she was called and would be the curious one that followed you around while you were busy outside. When we purchased her, we had to choose from about 30 Wellies and all of them were at our feet begging for attention.
