When deciding on which breeds to choose as my first ever flock.....I was sure I wanted Wellies in the bunch thanks to all of you!

I am sure I am gonna like these girls......at one week they already seem to have sweet personalities and

sooooooo cute!

I'm getting so close to eggs I can't wait. They will be 17 weeks old tomorrow!

Nice names. This reminds me of when my daughter (now an adult) named all our chickens. She was about three y.o. at the time. She told me that she couldn't tell them apart, so she named them all "Frank".

I would hear her going outside in the morning saying, "Hi, Frank, hi, Frank, hi Frank..."

Finally got our first wellie egg! It's not as dark as I was hoping- but it has lots of cute speckles.

im looking for some Welsummer hatching eggs any one have any for sale??? i got 9 chicks at the Newnan GA show and would like to get a few more soon... as i think the ones i got are mostly boys
