Ok, I have a question of sorts. My 18 wellie chicks are about 2-3 weeks old now and just looking at their combs, I would guess I only have about 5-6 pullets, 5-6 roos and the rest unknown. But I read where the pullets at this age will have a lighter coloring on their breast feathers, whereas the roos will be darker on the breast feathering. Is this true, because going by this methon I should have about 11 pullets and 7 roos. Anyone know for sure on this.
