My rankings would be (LF only):

TailFeather's Friend (from rumors only)

TailFeathers (Royce)

Pink Chick (Kim)

EweSheep (Robin)

Lensters (myself)

Nate (not sure of his BYC handle, the kid from TX)

new2chooks (you, based mainly on Moose)

Now everyone knows where their birds stand with me.

Thank you for your opinion. I'm not in a hurry as I'm out of room until my new coop is finished. So it will be fall probably.

Outback~ Since it has been about 4 months since those pics were taken I bet your birds have changed. If you have an opportunity to get an updated photo that would be great.

Nate(MYSELF) is not in texas - if you are talking about the one in texas, that would be JOSH.

I am in Hudson, WI. My welsummers are also very nice, I also have stock over in holland, out of 12 eggs they hatched out 3 babies - they are still developing, but they can be the judge to tell me how my welsummers are! :)

Yes, I will try and get some pics up, some of my girls have been laying for quite some time, I do have a pic of a SQ wellie hen egg next to a hatchery stock hen that I had a while back, but she got sold, as soon as my SQ wellies started laying, so I still had eggs to eat! :)

The website has been a work in progress all winter long, and now summer long, its finally coming around, but now I have also added wheaten marans and blue wheaten marans.

I talked to Erhard he seems to know his stuff and answered any questions I had. I wish I had room I would have gotten some Welsummers in a second they are my 2nd favorite breed of all. I used to have a flock from Whitmore Farm and I go out there every so often and look over his birds with him. Will has Fantastic birds his welsummer eggs are almost as dark as his black copper eggs. He also keeps all of his birds in large fields in coops that allow them to free range. He breeds to the standard and in my opinion does a really good job of it! Robin hope you can find some chicks. I would give you some BBS faverolles bantams if I were closer or if it were less hot.

There is a marked difference in colouring between Chick-let and the other 2; she seems much darker. Does this indicate anything? They are almost twice the size now than they were when we got them at 2 days...

Bossy-boots doesn't hold her tail as high; again does this mean anything?

Well, it is Friday again, so here are week 3 pictures of the ladies...

Well, that is it for this week. I can't believe how big they are. Can anyone see any major flaws yet?

In my opinion...and this is just my opinion, I would not use roo#2, #1 looks better and looks to have a better comb. Your hen looks good too... is she laying yet?

Pictures on the internet are sometimes very misleading and can be hard to really see detail in. I wish my monitor showed clearer photos like my husbands monitor.
