Once I had a rooster who was agressive and he was captured, held down and then lost a few of his feathers. The treatment changed his behavior considerably !

Sometimes one intervention is all he would need, most roos wont get past the second time around. They do learn really quick that we humans are not the ones to dominate from.

I was able to pin him down, one handed no less, but of course he got three jumps in during that time. I kept him down on the ground until he decided that it wasn't worth it. Once he chilled a bit I moved him to a more comfy spot for me where I continued to hold him down on his side for a while. He doesn't want anything to do with me right now but he has no choice, I am carrying him around like the poor little baby he acted like. We will see what a couple of weeks of humiliation treatment will do for him. Would post pics but can't from my phone.

Ya know..he seems to be doing good. I borrowed a baby snuggie like someone suggested previously here on the thread from my DIL to be, I've been wrapping a towel around him and putting him in the snuggie and carrying him around with me as much as possible. He has also been grounded for a while and I let the girls out to range but he gets to stay in the coop and run, the only interaction that he is seeing with the girls is from lights out to lights on. I keep telling him that he should look at it like this......it's our special bonding time and he should be very thankful that this he has been given this extention and he should take full advantage of a good thing, next time I may not be so merciful. Today will give me some sort of inclination as to his improvement , I allowed him to go out with the girls this morning because I am home and will be out there with them doing some cleaning and I am going to purposely put myself in his space to see how he responds.

Been trying to load pics for Nate of the girls' backs and of "mister king of everything", but no matter how small I make the photos they just take forever to load and then some just time out.....ARGH!!!!

yes...and I am not willing to pay for crappy satellite service...we have sate television that 50% of the time is non funtional...so I figure the it will be the same with sate internet service, besides they want an arm and a leg with a 24 mos long commitment. We live at the end of the line next to forest lands. I do have high speed on my cell phone but we don't reception for that out here either....to get that I have to drive down 16.5 miles.
