if the bird can not carry its tail in a straight manner, while standing or walking, not climbing or scratching at dirt, it is most likely it could be wry tail.

Wry tail is recessive, not dominant however it would be adviseable not to breed the hens or roo with that trait. However it does NOT affect their laying abilities.
