You got it girl! Let me get in touch with one person and see if he is ready for eggs yet.....if he is not then I can start collecting for you. I can't send Marans eggs with them yet, can we get those out a little later? Those Marans are not cooperating, but the Wellie girls are doing great!

Although I won't turn away a Marans egg or 2, they aren't what I was after. Wellies and Barnies is what I'm wanting.

I might can toss in a couple Barnie eggs for you....2 days ago she laid a WHOPPER!!!!! And she is laying them with that light purplish chaulky hue to them....you know...where if you wet it, it is a nice color under then it dries back to the lighter purplish hue. Crazy....hope she gets over that.
Emailed my friend in Idaho to see if he is ready for eggs....may be too soon for him yet, will let you know soon as I hear from him.

Great, thanks! And if you happen to get a marans egg, I'll unselfishly take it off your hands so you won't be tempted to stick it in the bator.

I got some chicks from Will last year, you will really like them. You will want to wait until they are older to pick out the best for breeders and which to dress out. We (the grandkids and I) dressed out a couple last year and roasted them. They are OK that way. Then I had a couple more dressed out along with the hatchery roosters and gave them to familys in the head start program, that were in need.

Blessisngs
