The Welsummer Thread!!!!

Morning Wellie Lovers!!!!!

We have 7 Wellie chicks here and #8 is still working on it. No pips in any others yet. Looks like 3 boys and 4 girls. Photos of fuzzies to come soon.

All the chickens are fine today despite of the below temps.

UGH, what have I done to myself? Spent nearly two hours shoveling the driveway and its only roughly two van back to back in length. I didn't do hubby's side....he told me to gun it and backed out. Well I got stuck at the end of the driveway and thought, what a jerk! So I rocked the van out and got my dd to school in time. Came home and started shoveling. I took my time because I do have MVP and slowly and surely I will get it done! Now after taking a hot shower and sitting down, I know I'm going to be sore! So much for being out of shape but I felt good of the driveway being done.

Now I deserved a good back massage and Monical's Pizza!
 
The first two pics are eggs myWelsummers laid. The last pic is of the bantam Welsummer eggs which I ordered.

The ones in the back are my white leghorn eggs but the first two rows are my welsummer eggs.. Some are rich colored the first row is not as rich color (what causes that)
