3 out of the 6 eggs have hatched.
However.....all 3 of them did not finish absorbing. They are the only chicks that have this issue. The first one to hatch, hatched very very wet. I ran humidity the same as I always do, right at 50-51%. I run it the same from start incubation to finish and run it the same for all breeds, but never had a problem with just one particular breed not absorbing all the way.
One little pullet only has just a very small small little bit left unabsorbed and she was okay to be put in the brooder with the others, the remaining 2 are not so good, they are acting fine and trying to get around in the 'bator but they have alot of stuff still hanging out, one more so than the other. Will get photos and would like some advise as to what would have caused this with only the Wellies.
WARNING!!!!!!!! Kinda yucky photos coming up.
First photo is of the first Wellie chick that hatched yesterday....he came out of no where. LOL! All of a sudden there was a Wellie chick. When I had looked a few minutes before none of the Wellie eggs had any pips.
Anyway...here is his blurp....finally starting to dry up and shrink a little since yesterday.
This is a little pullet that hatched this morning (a couple hours ago matter of fact)...she has the largest blurp, complete with a piece of eggshell stuck to it. Sorry this photo is a little fuzzy, but it is hard taking a picture with a wiggler in one hand and the camera in the other.
