Hello,

Do you have too many eggs coming from your coop on a daily basis?
So do I! I love eggs, and it's ashamed to throw out eggs because too many to fit in the fridge.
......................
My Mom and I want to find a way of not wasting eggs, so here's the plan:
What recipes have eggs?, (not too many so your wiped out) and (not to little so it doesn't even leave a dent.)

Well I may not have a whole "book" of recipes, not even a little. Only 1 or 2 used eggs used a day!

I need help with this issue and some other people might, I made this thread to learn AND have a lot of fun.

Please post you "plan" and what recipes help you leave the door without a pile 'o eggs following you around. I mean c'mon, I only have 21 hens! 14 eggs a day, (some are older; they stopped laying.) I am still over flowed!

I give my eggs away.
Family, friends, neighbors and to teachers.
Shoot I have even brought eggs to the manager at my local grocery store!

I have read that people freeze them??

My refrigerator is overloaded with eggs!!! I usually make a lot for breakfast, and sometimes I cook some up for my dog or chickens, or just give them to neighbors.

Yes, I often thought about giving away, trading or selling eggs.
We might this summer!

I don't quite understand freezing eggs,
I put 'em in the fridge, but towards the front (so they don't crack.)

Since they have pours, when they are in heat they kinda get unhealthy.
I don't know the whole thing 'bout eggs, but I know the "pour part" !

I'm pretty sure people do not freeze them in the shell.
I think I saw how they crack them in an ice cube tray then freeze them.

I didn't know you could freeze eggs! That's a pro-active idea for storing.
