I have 12 out of 15 Ameraucanas developing, and 7 out of 9 SLW... not too bad for my first hatch EVER!!! Hope they all make it!!!

Will they hatch? Hmmmm, I candled a few of the eggs tonight. Recall, many were ice cold and I wondered if they would be any good. Well, some look like they are developing and others I don't think are. I left them in, and will recheck them. Usually I don't even candle until day 18 when I switch them to the hatcher. I was curious and did check. I think I got my answer though ...... Will they hatch? Unlikely, I think.

Just candled my TJ eggs and when I did it yesterday or friday (can't remember) I thought I'd give them a day or two and then toss.

Eyes started to blur after a few, but the biggest eggs in there all have veins! A few of the samller ones do too.

I have eggs stacked on both of the LGs and even the top eggs are developing, so this is a nice change. I can't see through the Marans eggs, but the ones I could see a little into all have the aircells and a mass, so most of them will just be put into lockdown and I'll check them if they don't hatch.

Forgot to count eggs again

I think I have somewhere between 90 and 100 between the 2. Most I think are looking pretty good. Gotta buy more batteries tomorrow. I forgot those this weekend too.

This "getting old" stuff is not user friendly!

Yup, we've got more then enough eating eggs right now, so I just threw the eggs I'm getting from the SLW pair in the bator. Looks like I do have one egg from there in the other Brinsea due to go into lockdown on Thursday that developed.

My BLRW are hatching

along with some unlabeled eggs from my birds

5 made it to lockdown, got 2 out so far, I think. I hope they all make it. They were due today, 2 hatched yesterday and 4 more while I was asleep. So the rest should be hatching throughout the day!
