So a little about myself, I started my first flock with 19 broilers for an FFA contest. Worst Decision EVER. After the contest was over, my dad found a friend who was willing to trade me my first layer flock for the ugly broilers. I got 5 hens and a rooster they were a RIR/Production red mix + a polish Rooster.. After getting them and loving them, I slowly started adding more.

I currently have:
  • 4 production red/RIR hens & 1 rooster
  • 5 Polish hens & 1 rooster
  • 1 Wyandotte cockerel
  • 2 EE hens & 1 rooster & 7 chicks
  • 2 Barred rock pullets & 3 chicks
  • and 1 mystery black pullet.
  • I also have 6 turkey eggs and 12 guinea eggs in my incubator.
I first started my flock when I was 15, and it's grown like fire since! It's still growing chicken wise with my odd RIR broody hen, Autumn and her 10 eggs. Ill turn 17 this year and itll be a blast. Now, to get my driver's license so I can drive to get more chickens, lol!
