The Women will understand...

For people who are complaining about bras not fitting right, go to Victoria's Secret and get a fitting. I went in just to see what size I was. I wasn't planning on shelling out $85 for two bras, but when you put a bra on that FITS and WORKS, you don't care if it costs $80 for ONE! They give you numerous ones to try on, then you can buy one of the same model.

or 32?

32 or 34 in D is almost impossible to find.

Will check out the recommended site.

After my youngest was born I was wearing a 32 DD. Now THAT is hard to find--I ended up finding some in a store that specialized in hard to fit sizes, particularly for those that had had masectomies; a small portion of their eusiness was nursing bras in uncommon sizes.

Anyways, finding a 32 or 34 D is much easier than it was 20 years ago. Still not easy, but not completely impossible, either.

Yes, supposedly all bodies are created to the same proportion--if you measure X" around your chest underneath your breasts, and Y" including them, then you need a specific cup size and X" band size. Problem is not all cups or breasts are shaped the same: some have a larger diameter and smaller height; others the opposite. And most of us have one side that is a bit larger than the other.

Yeah, and not all brands fit the same, measure the same, or wear the same, so the math just doesn't compute!

Not just bras on this. Try finding a pair of slacks that fit--on some brands a petite length is perfect; on others the length is ok, but hte crotch is much too short. And with some a size 4 is WAY too big, and with others a 6 is too small.

You mean Bigger Bras? What does the gender of the owners have to do with the quality of a product?

I think she's referring to the comments about how men must have designed all the horrible bras that cause us so much pain. This is her courteous and fair hurrah for men...... at least some men.

Ah....sorry then. I must have skipped the comment that she was referring to.

I got a fitting at Victoria's Secret once and it worked great for their bras only, it didn't work with any other brand. I liked the look of the bras there, but not the price tag and the one I did buy didn't last 2 months so I took it back and they weren't very nice about it. I know some people love them, I'm not one of them though.

I'll say it. If I was not a DD, I would NOT wear a bra. Ridiculous contraptions that are evil. Then you get the muffin top thing going on...as well as gravity working it's way downward during the day so that you have to go to the bathroom and readjust every 10 minutes...

You would think the popularity of plastic surgery "enhancements" would make that easier, wouldn't you?

You would think so, however I don't think most of those women go out to purchase a 38J unless they work in an industry that requires such nonsense.

I would like to be able to say that a 4 is too big. Heck I would love to say that a size 18 was too big!! I couldn't get a calf into a size 6 even if the seams were busted out!!
