The Women will understand...

I used to think just as you do and went without a bra. I thought that men only stared at the women with larger breasts. Wrong. Men talked to my chest, just like they do the girls with bigger breasts.

You are soooo right, I think I would kill myself before I go without a bra. It just looks disgusting, and people stare at you.

I recent had to go shopping for some new bras. I hate it. I have very specific wants and it seems they don't generally make the kind I want for anything other than a 32A, which I am definitely not.

Anyone else a fan of Bette Midler and Otto Titsling?

AMEN... I HAVE to get padding or I am always 'highbeaming'... I swear something's wrong with them... always has been. Which was really fun in school before I figured out to buy padded. Really fun is when I've got a headlight out.

I've got a rather wide ribcage. Even when I only weighed 108 (jr high a LONG time ago) I still had a 36" rib cage... and that was BEFORE maturity. It's a minimum 38" now... but only a B cup (when my weight's up and the wind is right)... 38B is not the most easily found either... donno if it's because it's a weird size, or if it's because it's super common so they sell out fast.

And I agree, I don't envy the big guns. My poor aunt, always with the achey back. No thanks. But, I wouldn't mind a C... that's what I got to when nursing and it balanced out my hips pretty well... B certainly wasn't complaining.

I'd like to find one where the straps stay up! If the strap is tight enough to stay up I sort of - you know submarine....

I'm a little girl and keep ending up buying mine in the juniors dept! Embarrassing. At my age I do not want pink hearts and race cars on my bras!

In the winter like this I can skip it with enough layers no one knows the diff. But, I do wonder why we women haven't invented a better contraption!

I have WHAT in my yard? :

I'd like to find one where the straps stay up!

I have slopey shoulders, and my straps were constantly falling off. Very annoying. That's why I always buy the racerback style, no more straps slipping off !!

Ooh, I hear you on the shoulder strap thing. One shoulder is lower thanks to a broken collar bone that didn't heal straight. Unfortunately, racer back bras don't fit me correctly. I HATE having to buy new bras. You would think 34D was a crime!

And I want pretty bras. Why should my bras be white and ugly because they are a big size?

With the problems with bras, I might just go back to wearing corsets LOL! The problem with those are, they needed to be laced up by someone else, get HOT during summer months, and you can not bend over all the way with them on LOL! The only time I wear them is during Civil War reenactments.

Like the bras, the corsets have to be properly fitted too! Get the cotton canvas ones, do not get nylon blends, they do not hold up good in everyday wear.

I absolutely agree. I cannot stand a bra that is so tall in the front that I would worry about it showing over the top of a t-shirt! But I want and need support.

As I sit here with a chick in my bra... I am wondering if I can write bras off as a business expense.... lets just hope the IRS doesnt want to investigate...
