"today is sword practice on moving targets, get close but don't touch them you will get stunned and i will laugh." fraun said pointing to the targets "now get in there and make proud." he said looking to them and to the targets.

"today i would like you to practice on moving targets, as are the other factions today. please pick up a knife after you have used it and then continue, if you can't then use your extras and then pick it up." varissa said in a calm and stable voice.

"uh huh, sure." Missy said with a small smile, and sarcasm in her voice. "alright!" she yelled to the recruits, "were doing the same thing except with knives, so get in there. if you drop a knife then pick it up, after you have thrown it pick it up. if you don't, pick it up, then i will personally beat you myself." she said emphasizing pick it up each time. "go time!" she said hopping and clapping her hands. she pointed to the table with knives in leather packages, they each had 5. she then pointed to the field with the targets and smiled.

Noa moved towards the targets, moving lightly with the sword. She got as close as she could to each of the targets as she attacked them.

Anna went to pick up the knives quietly. She settled four knives in one hand and the fifth in her throwing hand, then ran out to attack the targets.

Jason looked at the recruits and cocked his head, they were doing okay but not at their best, "come one! i am upping the level and if you can't compete with it, get out of my class." he had to motivate them to see their full potential.

mik quickly upped her game and started to demolish some targets getting mad at Jason's words, every time she hit one she imagined his face on the targets.

Carolina's motivation was that guy in her dream on the target, she ripped those targets to shreds.

Sam watched as the recruits attacked the targets. She and Jk had talked about who they wanted on their team. She smiled, thinking that they would win.

Kaleb observed the initiates on the field. Making more mental notes about the teams and thinking about what he had told Missy. Sam would probably kill me if she found out I told Missy about what she did without her knowing. But she had to tell Missy eventually… He argued with himself.

Ryan tried hitting the moving targets, this time hitting most of them.

Celyn got as close as she dared to a target. She swung her sword, but it got stuck in the dummy. She finally managed to pull it out, but the force used to get it out made her off balance. She fell onto the dummy. She rolled away from it as fast as she could, but she was still stunned.

fraun shook his head when he saw the recruits failing, "next person to get stunned gets to spend the rest of the afternoon with me."fraun said trying to motivate them.

"come on! i want to see some action!"" missy yelled to the recruits. she was't seeing much, they were mostly all just avoiding the targets, "stop playing defense and get in there!" she yelled getting agitated.

Jason smiled when he saw that the recruits had stepped up their game and gotten better. "keep it going." he said

varissa didn't let any emotion cross her face, "level two!" she yelled pressing a button causing the targets to speed up and get better. "try to get closer." she said in her calm and natural voice.

mik continued to work hard at making sure the targets were truly dead.

vallin put his hands up as a candor boy came at him. they were in training and they stood in the training room circling him. he smiled and did a quick upper cut and caused the boy to roll to the ground in pain. "practice it." he said in his low yet very strong voice.

Sam walked over to Missy. "You guys were gone for a while." She smirked and raised her eyebrows.

Kaleb watched the initiates and thought about the day he almost killed that Factionless man on his front lawn. That day was full of regret for him. Now when he tries visit his mom in Candor, she turns away scornfully. If he goes to see his brother in Abnegation, he cowers away and hides.

Noa sent a quick glance to Fraun then turned to slice at the targets again. She was getting usedto using the sword.

Anna didn't glance up at Missys' words. She buried a knife in one target, then turned and threw another knife into the next before retrieving them.
