I have read all the pages of this post. I am still in shock someone would come on your property and steal your chickens!

I hope you catch who ever is doing this, I am still shaking my head , I still and having a hard time thinking anyone would do this.

Kids will be kids , esp. when parents DON'T care what they are doing from one minute to the next .

as far as having a few chickens under the house that they could not catch , maybe they could NOT fit in the cage and turned a few lose in the yard and UNDER the house they went .

REGARDLESS , parents are still responsible for the actions of minors . and they will be .

Oh okay. I was just wondering whether the kids had a reason to steal the chickens other than "why not". Pets, I guess.
