14 partridge and 2 bbs orps, they are under a BLRW hen. She's plenty big for them.

Mom left the nest when I fed, took the opportunity to candle. No development in any. So much for my hopes of having partridge in my coops.
I'll leave them for now and check again later, but I usually see veins by now.

hard to get such great looking wyandottes in that color.

The Wyandottes are here! I picked them up at the post office today. Alaskan, I believe I have two blues. I had three, but the only chick that was DOA was a blue.

Along with the blues, I think I have 7 Columbians, 6 golden laced, 2 buffs, and 8 buff Columbians. One extra was included, so I received a full order. I'm very pleased here at the whole 2-hour mark. They are very lively, and appear to be doing well.

I'm sure several of these will be lovely.

Some of them look like BLRW? I know you said Ideal didn't have them or silver laced at the time but they would be extras from orders filled. Or did they end up being Buff Columbian?

Edit: Nevermind, I just realized you were the person I asked this question in August and you replied that you did get BLRW- I wasn't sure if that was you but just found the post
