These are red porcelain cockerel x splash hen

Red porcelain cockerel x blue laced golden hen

4 Pure red porcelains, others are red porcelain cockerel x splash hens or blue laced golden hen

Latest hatch of red porcelains

The more mature chicks are looking like this now
Hens

Young cockerels

The first hatch is maturing fine. Too bad I don't have any spare space for these "project birds".
They are red porcelain x blue laced gold, but none of them ended up blue marked.

Cockerels

2 pure red porcelain roosters from the same hatch

The remaining adult birds

Wow, beautiful chickens! I have a blue laced red Wyandotte she is not near as pretty as these chickens. I got her from a woman and I think that she didn't tell the truth about the chicken.she isn't laying eggs right now and she's huge and I think she is older than what she said, she didn't actually say how old she was I usually ask, anywayI don't know what to do about her. Again your roosters are just beautiful and chickens.

Way dodo. The chicks u have that u said are hens, what is their breed name. The reason I ask is someone gave me two checks that looked just like that and they said they were red laced Wyandotte. These look just like yours there a red color with some little white spots and then the white headsand I just want to make sure what they are. Their real pretty little pullets. I'm not sure about them so I was just wondering and I have no way to get any pictures set right now because my computer is acting out. I'd appreciate any help thanks.

I have 2 hatchery wyandotte hens that are about 3-4 years old, and they're eggs are very small (not that much bigger than my bantams in fact). Are smaller eggs normal for wyandottes, or is it just my hens?

@sssharon

A picture is always the easiest way to get some helpful opinions.
Always tricky to "judge" an animal on written words.
All my birds are pure Wyandotte bantams in the colors red porcelain/jubilee , jubilee x splash or jubilee x blue laced gold.
You might have gotten some jubilee Orpingtons or speckled Sussex or,...

That must be your hens. Sorry!

Not that Wyandottes tend to lay super big eggs.... more medium to large.

This might be a silly question, but when can I expect my SLWs to look... Silver?

They are currently dark brown with tons of goldish highlights (sorry, brand new to chickens) and even their feathers seem to be growing in goldish with black edges. They are 4? weeks old.
