The Wyandotte Thread

Hello! Yes...I'm new! I received these two Wyandottes in an assortment from Paul's. I'm curious if anyone can tell me what they are? I'm assuming they are both roos. The order was supposed to have SLW in it...but, they look nothing like any SLW I've seen on here. I just want to do my research before I re-home them. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Me and my hubby saw some Blue Laced Reds at ChickenStock and he fell completely in love.

they would of came home with us, but we didn't bring the carrier for that very reason.... neither of us have any impulse control.

As soon as I get our new bator figured out we plan on ordering some hatching eggs.

They are definetly barred wyandottes. But they seem too dark for boys. Look carefully at their saddle and hackle feathers and see if they are narrow and pointed or wide. Wide would be girls. Narrow boys.

They are barred wyandottes....a project I think Jesse has been working on.

They confuse me because they remind me of my Dominique

Thank you for all of the responses!! I attached another picture of 'it's' feathers for roo/pulet reference. The feathers are so soft and translucent I had a hard time getting a picture. Are they considered narrow and pointy? I appreciate your feedback!
