That stinks! I get shipped eggs here at least twice a week. Really the secret of shipping eggs so that the air cells don't break is shipping them so that they're right side up (pointy side down). That way the air cell doesn't get sloshed back and forth and get detached from the sides. Since I started shipping like that and I requested my eggs be shipped like that, I have had no broken air cells at all. Its when the eggs are laid on their side that it happens.

We have had our eggs packaged many different ways.....I thought out of all of the boxes shipped the one that was shipped express would have been a safe bet...oh well,
we just stick with chicks or pick up birds or eggs at a show.
Who did you order you eggs from again??? MIght be worth a try shipping them to my moms house.....
Like we need anymore birds, but the incubator is not full.

Hey Rebecca!
You want a breeder pair of glw? lol
I simply don't have the room now that I have the new splash rooster unless I can get Kevin to build me a couple of arks this spring. I am serious about switching over to the black LF wyandottes. At least that way I won't have to cull for lacing...
