The Wyandotte Thread

Wow that is good to know about the yellow cancelling the green sheen. Lester, my best looking young rooster, is black with yellow legs and has a nice green sheen on his back.
I am strongly thinking of using him, but am trying to wait for all of the boys to go through the raging hormone phase to see how they all turn out.

The girls combs and wattles are pinking up so been thinking alot on who would make better breeders and who to just keep for eggs for breakfast.

Sure hope the doctor can prescribe some meds to help her stop puking. She probably needs re-hydration if she can manage to keep fluids down.
There has been a nasty virus going around down here too. Everyone I know that has caught it has had a difficult time getting rid of it.
If you have it too you may also need meds.

I wanted to post a pic of one of my Splash BLRW's. He's impossible to photograph because he's chasing his Peacock buddy around. LOL Oh, he's a bantam. Him and his peacock buddy have been together since the day they hatched. Now neither will go anywhere without the other. LOL

Here he is.

Very cool....boy you are going to be loaded for bear by the time Crossroads gets here. I am hatching some SLW chicks now in the hopes I will have some pullets and cockerels mature enough to compete...

oh what teasers, just got through glancing at the Feathersite auction and what did I spy?
BLRW chicks on auction by the Foleys with pictures of the heart shaped nicely rounded parents. Drooling with excitement I was about to bid when staring me straight in the face was the horrible words "Pick Up Only".

ooo what teasers

Looks like they need to move to Texas so I can bid and pick up those chickies.
