How are the chicks doing today? Have any chick pics?
They looked like they wanted to come out into the world last night, maybe it was me wanting them to... They started hatcing this am and are still in the hatcher. Pics soon though! BLR, chocolates, and bantam partridge so far...

Since you ask so nicely

Sorry for flooding! This is me restraining myself - I have soooo many pictures!!!
Roocrazy - nice white one - is she from white parents or is she a recessive white sport?
Do you sell birds? Because you have show quality chickens, and I'd love to buy a few.

Happy New Years to all my BY friends!!! What better to do on New Years Eve but take pictures of my chickens and post them for everyone to see. I look forward to your "Constructive" criticism and comments. I'm here to learn!!! The first set are of my darker GLW..... This second set is of my lighter GLW....

Saw my BLR pullet going in a nest yesterday & later found an egg & today another one like it :D So I know the 1st one I got a few days ago came from the GL pullet :ya

I moved everyone around today. One girl was trying to go broody so this is her 2nd move and I put them all with the rooster I think is the better of the 2 younger ones. 1 roo over 4 pullets hens. 2 are laying 1 is molting and the other is near POL.

I have a few more in the bator maybe 2-4 that are developing. SUPER EXCITED to see if they hatch.

I got some pics of them too.... I just need time to put them on the computer.

dajen,

I like your light color much better, her lacing goes down a bit farther. I do not know how old they are. Perhaps the lacing with improve with the next molt. they look nice and healthy!

We purchased these girls a month or so ago. I believe they are just 8-9 months old and haven't gone through their first molt.

Mine are slow this time. My incubator was not holding temps in the cold nights so I think they are about a day behind. I have 4 pips when I left, but I should have had chicks this morning....

Still hopeful for a good hatch. I don't think it was enough to cause problems, but slower.

I will get pics too if they hatch.

Here is a pic of the offspring of a couple blue laced reds. Not show quality but still beautiful nonetheless. Her name is Peaches.
